Expert Clay Shooting Tuition

  • Widdington is an ideal venue for shotgun training and coaching. We offer the full range of instruction from a taster session through to the advanced shooting skills course. For those new to the sport we offer the basic shotgun skills course which focuses on gun construction, maintenance and handling and an introduction to shooting moving targets. 

    Our coaches are available for development lessons to improve skills generally or to address a problem with a specific target or technique.

    Basic Shotgun Skills Course

    An excellent introduction into the world of clay target shooting, ideal for those new to shooting clays and/or game.

    The Shotgun Skills course will teach you the skills, knowledge and understanding so that you can use the shotgun confidently and most importantly safely. The course includes up to 50 clays and cartridges.

    NOTE : The course is open to anyone aged 16 or over whether you are a CPSA member or not and includes tea, coffee and light lunch. Minimum booking four people, maximum six people. 10am to 3pm

    £120.00 per person

    Advanced Shotgun Skills Course

    A progressive and flexible programme to introduce students to all aspects of their chosen discipline; from rules to developing skills and techniques to improve scores.

    A discipline specific course for Shotgun certificate holders to improve your skills and ability in your chosen discipline. The course includes up to 100 clays and cartridges.

    NOTE: You must hold a current Shotgun Certificate. The course is open to anyone aged 16 or over whether you are a CPSA member or not and includes tea, cofee and light lunch. Minimum booking four people, maximum six people. 9.30am to 4pm

    £145.00 per person
