Welcome to Widdington Clay Shoot — Now Under New Management!

Set across both sides of the valley at Widdington, our ground features 12–15 sporting stands, each with two targets, plus a six-target compact layout — offering a fantastic variety of challenges to suit everyone, from complete beginners to experienced shots.

We use the Promatic Claymate system on all stands, so you can enjoy shooting solo using the solo delay feature, or, if you prefer, one of our friendly team members can accompany you.

Price: 40p per clay

A quick reminder:

Fibre wad cartridges only — no exceptions. (Fibre wad cartridges are available to purchase on site.)

Please bring your shotgun licence if shooting unsupervised.

March: 10:00am – 5:30pm (last entry 4:00pm)

April – August: 10:00am – 6:00pm (last entry 4:30pm)

Sundays: 10:00am – 2:00pm

New to Clay Shooting?

Beginners are always welcome at Widdington! If you’re new to the sport, our team is here to help — just get in touch and one of our friendly staff will be happy to answer any questions or arrange a lesson with one of our qualified instructors.

Our “Try Clay Shooting” package is the perfect way to get started. The session lasts around one hour and includes 30 clays, tuition, gun hire, and all necessary safety equipment.
